An occasion where oenology and astronomy merge: this is Calici di Stelle - Chalices of Stars in Chianti

It is one of the most important summer wine tourism events and takes place every year between July and August.

The goal is to combine wine and food tastings with guided observations of the sky and stars, which offer wonderful spectacles during this period.

The event is promoted by the Città del Vino Association, the Tourism Movement for Wine, and the Italian Union of Amateur Astronomers, and every year offers a program full of initiatives, including markets, tastings, and much more.

Every year, the municipalities of Chianti and local wineries participate with various initiatives and events.
