The Chianti Classico EcoMarathon is a running event that highlights the scenic and gastronomic treasures of the territory, held in Castelnuovo Berardenga in October. 

The sports event includes three competitive running events on different courses, as well as a relay race. The routes cross the Castelnuovo Berardenga territory, through paths and white roads in a breathtaking landscape. 

In addition, non-competitive events called "Ecopasseggiate" (Eco-walks) are organized, open to all to discover the beauty of the area at a slower pace.

It is also possible to participate in visits to villas, castles, and other tourist attractions in the area. 

The event is suitable for all, thanks to the wide variety of routes proposed, and it is also organized for charitable purposes.
