The Granfondo del Gallo Nero is one of the most important events for cycling enthusiasts, which takes place in late summer in September. 

It allows you to cycle in the wonderful territory of Chianti Classico in one of the most suggestive moments of the year: that of the grape harvest. 

It is organized by the Chianti Classico Consortium. 

There are two planned routes, both starting and finishing in Radda in Chianti, one shorter at about 81 km and one longer at about 133 km: both travel through the most beautiful roads of the municipalities that are part of Chianti Classico and represent the maximum expression of cycling for this land.

 In addition to the competition, it is possible to purchase the Chianti Classico Card, which allows you to experience exclusive tastings and experiences in the wineries of the area.
